The little moments.

Some of my favorite parts of the day happen when I stop and take the time to fully enjoy a moment or two with my little girl. I stop thinking about all the things on my to do list or what I should be cleaning, and put my full attention on her.  I love watching her be herself and take in all the little details of her personality. These are the moments that I will always cherish in my heart.
It is the moment when she is lost in her own world gazing up at the christmas tree, clutching her favorite puppy ornament, and swaying back and forth to the music. It is the moment when I put her to bed and she lays her head on my shoulder and starts to hum a tuneless song. Or the joy on her face when she finds her pink little blanket and scoops it up in her arms to hug it.  It is watching her fall into a pile of pillows over and over again. It is the moment she sees her daddy and her entire face lights up. And of course the moments I tell her I love her and she looks me in the eyes and says "wuve ooo" back in her sweet little voice.

I love watching her experience new things and seeing her reaction to them.  She wasn't quite sure about this wind up train, but when it was still she kind of liked it.
