Last summer.

Ok so this post really has no point to it except to put up a picture of the girl (since it has been a while). But I have yet to edit many of the OR trip pictures so here are two from last summer. I don't realize how much she has grown until I look back and see what a baby face she had just last summer!

Ok so these pictures are not totally random.... today we are going to a jump place with the family in the last picture :) I will get current pictures up soon!

camping {part 2}

Summer camping. {part 1}

Although we always intend on doing it a lot more, we end up camping just once a year. This time we went with some awesome friends and found a great campground. Most of my pictures are of the girls because they are just so easy to photograph and they were cracking us up with the dirt. They LOVED the dirt!

Case in point. Five minutes after we arrived:

It got real quiet and we realized the girls were not close by. By the time we looked over this way they were almost out of sight behind the tree. This is them coming back from their exploring adventure.

These two are so funny to watch and listen to as they talk to each other in their own little language.

I think I need to have a birthday more often...

Because look who else came to see me!

Crazy huh?! She finally came out here :) They were only here for less than 2 hours but I am so so happy we got to see them!!! They were on their way to Washington with all their stuff in a Uhaul and were going right through Ogden (which is just north of us). So it worked out to meet for dinner! Next time we will have to plan a longer visit but nonetheless it was a wonderful surprise.

And just because I have been meaning to post these pictures, here are two more that I love:

Well Taylor is at work, the girl is in bed, the house is clean, and it is not even 8:00. So I am going to enjoy an evening to myself... it will probably invole a little Ben and Jerry's, itunes, and photoshop. Oh yes, I know how to have a good time :)

Here are a few more from Tara and Ryan's visit. After having a few days off Taylor is back to being at work all day.  So today I am doing a P90x workout with my neighbor and other than that reading tons of books to Madelyn and getting things done around the house. Even though I am not a fan of rain it is nice to have a day where I can just stay in my sweats and not worry about putting make up on :)

21st bday!

One of my best friends, Tara, and her husband Ryan came down for a few days and it was so fun! We loved spending time with them and I am sad it was over so quickly.  It was wonderful having another camera obsessed person to take pictures with me :)

Here are a few pictures from my birthday night. We got a babysitter for the girl and went down to Salt Lake!

Oh, and Taylor bought me an amazing macro lens!!!!!!!! These are two pics Tara took. Look at that close up detail.... ahhh I can't wait to play around with it more!
